All parents whose child has been treated at a pediatric oncology department, with a simple application, become regular members of Lampsi. Also, all children who have been ill and have reached adulthood can become regular members of Lampsi.
The association was founded by the need of parents to help their children and support each other. Some parents’ children were cured, some were not. However, most of them, regardless of the fate of their children, continued to be members of the association to help with their experience the newest cases, the newest parents of children with neoplastic diseases. This is the reason for the establishment and the necessity of the association’s existence. And parents who were helped by the association, in turn stayed to help the next generation. The association MUST continue.
In order to facilitate parents who wish to become regular members, the association offers the possibility of submitting an application electronically. The application is sent by post to the offices of Lampsis (5 Kleanthous, P.C. 54453, Thessaloniki), signed by the applicant. After submitting the application. After the application details have been examined, it is submitted for approval by the Board of Directors and the applicant is informed accordingly. Then, the applicant must deposit the registration fee of €5 and the annual subscription fee of €5 into one of the bank accounts of Lampsis, indicating in the justification the indication Application for Regular Member and informing the association’s secretariat by telephone.
