Mrs. Athanasia Tsakiri is one of the greatest supporters of our Association.
Since 2009, as administrator of the estate of the late George Pantelakis, she has been supporting Lampsis’ work with her donations and contributing substantially to its goals. That year, she had entrusted our Association and with a donation of 640,000 euros ensured the completion of the reconstruction project of the Pediatric Oncology Department in the wing of the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of the “AHEPA” General Hospital; a project that was completed exclusively with Lampsis’ care.
In 2019, continuing its contribution to the Pediatric Oncology Departments of Thessaloniki, through Lampsis, it made a donation for the purchase of modern medical equipment worth a total of 33,405.60 euros. This equipment concerns a Color Portable Ultrasound and a Super Freezer for storing bone marrow samples, for the Pediatric Oncology Department of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “Ippokrateio”, as well as a pediatric electric bed with an integrated weighing system, for the Pediatric Oncology Department of the General Hospital “AHEPA”.
Mrs. Tsakiri’s great offerings contribute to ensuring a high level of care for our children, while facilitating medical and nursing work.
